Pricing thoughts...

So the time is coming to move on really. It feels like I only bought the car yesterday, and indeed I only intended to own it for a year, so now 15 months on, I'm (reluctantly!) looking to put the car up for sale at the end of August.

Just wondering what people think the car is worth at this stage? It's certainly not the highest spec'd but being a saloon came with the updated 3G MMI etc. I think the only real options on the car are Privacy Glass and Advanced Parking Plus.

It's currently on 82,000 miles. A 2009 '09' car in Sepang Blue.

The car is in lovely condition. It was blown over at the start of the summer to remove any and all stone chips so it looks fresh as the day it was built. Wheels are all in great condition with no kerbing as they were also refurbished at the end of the last winter, and have good (6mm) Pilot Super Sport tyres all round. Full Audi Service History from new too, with all receipts.

Also, it's one of the few on the market (from looking) with the Comprehensive Audi warranty, which has been invaluable to me (I've had my money back for sure!). It has just been renewed for another year along with the MOT (with Audi MOT Insurance), so both of these will have 11 months remaining.

I'm unsure whether it's the type of car that will sell privately or not though? Certainly the warranty and history should give any buyer complete peace of mind at least.

I will put up a proper for sale thread in a few weeks. We are taking it on one last trip at the end of August which is why I haven't actually done this yet, but once back (and once I've got some photos and an idea of price), it'll be ready to go.

Yes, it was always slightly higher mileage, and I'm not known for letting my cars sit on the driveway...

I'd say around £29K, age and 3G in it's favor but mileage against.

Sepang and the warranty in your favour -GLWS

Yeah, I know the one you mean...

Tbh, I was going to start at £28,995 (unless otherwise advised on here), so it sounds like I'm in the right ball park.

Sounds like a nice car in a sort after colour but I think you will have to look sub 28k with that mileage. I assume the warranty with that mileage won't be zero excess for any claims from memory on mine?

the best Colour :) As others say the Warranty should get its full value back ..

FWIW all Saloons had 3G

If it helps, re my Avant, I was offered 30K for trade in and they expect to put it up for sale for 34 to 35K - It is one of the rare Avants with 3G and is on 46K mileage (Its just been serviced and had front disks and pads all round and is on 4 brand new tyres and was detailed annually 2 months ago with rims refurb'd) .. so Audi will have to wash it and slap a warranty on it .. (which will cost them 1k .. )

Therefore, I'd guess the others who suggest 28K ish are in the ballpark
