I have NEED to buy a RS6 V10, have been looking for while, but need an experts view please? And thought you guys will be able to help?

I like the colour and the spec, interior abit light for my liking, looks like a bitch to keep clean.

Many thanks in advance

Toby

Those seats are going to have you using lots of leather cleaner, that's for sure!

Hi Toby,

Spec is great on that car, has quite a few options that you would need/want, at that mileage make sure its had the service stamps, the gearbox oil they say is none serviceable but really it needs to be done at 50k, I would spend the extra and get a lower mileage one and if the box hasn't been serviced then that's the 1st on your to do list.

Also, the one in your link looks to have worn brakes, that's going to be £1500 all round to do so remember that if you are going to look.

It does look great, good high spec, same colour as mine ;) I wish I had some of those options, the only missing thing for me is ceramic brakes but they only really depend on how hard you're planning to spank it on a regular basis and if brake fade is an historic problem for you (lots of posts already on this topic).

You won't go wrong with my car:

Doesn't have exact spec as the car you posted up but a well specced example and in very good condition with a visit to MRC and a clean bill of health from them.

So went to have a test drive in this today. I really like the colour in the flesh as it were. Black interior and seats which is good but not many options. I think I need a few options, like keyless go, soft close etc. What you guys think, thanks for the replies, really trying to find the best for the money but there not as easy to find as you might think unless you want to travel the length and breadth of UK.

It seems all the Sepang blues seem not to have many options from what i have seen on autotrader/piston heads.

Chriscollie, your cars nice but I want a another colour, had grey and black cars before(I'm not a girl, sorry if that offends) so fancy a blue and the Sepang or Mugello are floating my boat.

Might have to make time to go to see the original 1 then as the spec is good

Thanks again for your help

Toby

IMHO soft close doors just never "work" .. no matter how many time you tell your passengers they will still slam them leading to yet another "argument" when you remind them yet again that you have soft close doors .. :bash:

There are not that many cars to chose from. I'd take lower mileage, good history and condition over a bucket load of options. They are pretty well spec'd as a base car.

Overpriced?

There's not a lot of detail on their website ad , though stage 2 is a great start :-) , ceramics ? , service record ,which service is next and when , 3G screen , colour rear camera , sunroof ? etc etc ?
Thanks

Personally soft close and keyless are great I would also go for darker interior. Don't understand why you can't find one. There are loads on PH especially with your budget.
I only had sub 30k 3 months ago and still found a great car with all the extras and only 43k on the clock

Get on Autotrader

There's a lovely 17k mileage avant with ceramics at Aberdeen Audi.
