Are these overpriced?

Hi guys
There are 2 silver C6 avants on Audi approved, one 08 with 20k miles, and one 09 with 29k miles, both at £40k. These, especially the 08 seem very overpriced to me, but is there a big premium due to them being Audi approved?
What should I be paying realistically for these? I thought that there should be at least a £5k difference for an 08 vs an 09 car? Neither car has amazing options or anything. I don't really want to be paying much more than early 30s I hoped.
Any opinions appreciated.
Mart.

Stock is low at the moment and the dealers will know that.
Realistically I think you'd be looking to pay mid 30s at a dealer for these cars. But you'd be able to haggle over any work that was due. Low mileage is holding the price up.
Don't forget you're getting 12 months warranty and that's worth anything up to 2k.
If you want to pay less wait until Christmas.

I cant see the c7 having that much of a impact as they are so much more . I cant see the point in trading mine for a c7 and having to spend another £50k to get one .

In the enthusiast market I agree. But there will be plenty who chop in for one as 50k is irrelevant.

I would say they are overpriced, defo the 08 plate. The 09 plate if its the one in Peterborough is my old car. They paid a very good price to me when I sold it to them. Thousands more than anyone else would, hence the £40k price. But it does have new tyres all round, front brakes and pads, well looked after by me.
If you want any info, give us a bell

Nice healthy profit for them there! I guess then the car is currently performing over book value.

I did the same with mine before part exing at the end of June. The magic number was just under 29 then, though lower miles. I don't think it is a surprise that numbers are sliding. The few C7s that have appeared are not commanding strong money. One at Liverpool for 73k.
Numbers will remain artificially buoyant whilst supply is low and dealers are still asking strong money.
Either way it's still a <beep> load of car for the cash.
