Some serious power there !! Don't think I'd be messing about with that serious kit though. Too much and also rather wait and see what the new RS6 is like none the less still cool. :thumb:

It's not only the kit of the turbo's. There are cooling, fuelling, mapping and exhaust to think of as well so the final cost is going to be in excess of over 10+K to complete.

I'm very content with over 700 BHP and for our British roads, that's more than enough already plus the downside resell value of the car will not recuperate anywhere near the injected monies that's gone into it.

]We can upgrade customers used turbos for a very very economic price .. Fueling is ok stock as is cooling as far as I'm aware
,I think whole cost is bellow 10k euro

Exhaust system is recomended(most have allready)and of course is software.

Tuning is never about money I feel. If is then yes best not.

Thank you for the clarification. I was quoted £12000 GBP even with my car's current stage 2 state of tune.
I believed that Sportsmile upgrade the cooling system with bigger intercoolers and a beefed up fuelling system (bigger pump and injectors) as well as the decat exhaust system with down pipes to produce those bhp numbers.

The car has additional cooling, as well as custom-made exhaust. Gearbox is standard (for now). Note this is still very much WIP. I agree with previous poster - this is not for everyone but... there is no such thing as too much power ;-). After a few years of ownership, I believe C6 is still the most versatile car out there. Frankly, I can't think of anything to replace it with, hence the additional mods.

Tomasz

Keep the info coming :beerchug: It's a very versatile car and very interesting to watch how far this can go and what the stages are along the way :FIREdevil:

I guess to keep lag down 18psi might give 900bhp or something close.
Not really pushing those turbos too hard either.
Crazy figures!!!

I wonder how the heads will start to flow in the higher boost range.

We are told tuned very conservatively by Adam@Sportmile

I am myself surprised at the spool/response of the turbos, to make around 775Nm@2.5K RPM is just NUTS..

I do know of 1 customers car at 885PS but have no other info or spec, only know no water or meth used.

First test of the current setup of the car:

(limited traction: 2C degrees, summer tyres)

Can't wait for weather to improve :-)

Looks like they don't map the box to give it the extra 200rpm a la MRC? The way it goes up the rev counter at the start, as if it were in neutral, mad. Sportmile cars do seem very quick.

No, no mods to the bonnet. This is totally new system, incl. 3 additional intercoolers. A big change vs. stock cooling. If you run 750 BHP+ tune under stock cooling, corrections kick in after 10sec+ of full throttle acceleration. The addition enables longer runs under peak power (i.e. this gives c.2secs advantage over 1 mile and 20km/h+ difference in peak speed)
