While I was waiting for the pump seal kit to arrive I got involved with body repairs (as mentioned in another thread) and also noticed that the right rear hose (replaced in 2016) had a surface cut but wasn't leaking. The leak seems to be from a split in the left front hose, the only one that I've not replaced so far. As left front and right rear are inter-linked I've ordered both - ETA another week or so. After what the oil and water pump cost me I could have done without another £500 bill but.....
Oh, and I've solved my tailgate open/close problems in the meantime with a new latch.

Finally got round to changing the other valve further in and bit the bullet on purchasing the drivers side turbo return res and all the coolant pipes swollen from oil contamination. Finally no smoke and no oil in the intercoolers.

I'm now approx 4 months in from my pump rebuild and nothing untoward from the exhaust other than a bit of heavy condensation occasionally. Haven't managed to lose the habit of checking my mirrors for smoke whenever I'm in a traffic queue yet. I think it'll be sometime before I lose that paranoia.

Good to hear. I know what you mean by checking the mirrors, some days you wonder if it was ever going to stop.

Hello all!

Straight to the point, where have you sourced the oil pump seals? I have googled quite a bit but haven't been able to find any good results. Only one post in some German forum that refers to some unnamed Facebook group. I would really appreciate the help. Thank you in advance!

Regards,
Mikko

If based in the UK, you can get them from Corey Vernon at Carillon Services in Loughborough (that's where I got mine from) or (I think) from REPerformance. In within the EU, it's a guy called Felix Schonfeld who is in the RS6 C6-OC Facebook group.

Thank you Jim for quick reply!
I'm based in EU so I'll start with contacting Felix.
