Don't get into the same situation on the new one - not long ago RS6s were losing almost £1000 a month, and when the new V8 RS6 is previewed I expect residuals to slide again. Know what you mean about B7 vs B8 - I looked at 3.0 TDI B7s when I was buying my B6 S4 (two years ago) but I'm glad I didn't - they have halved in price in two years!andy wrote:my current A4 Avant 2.0T S-Line SE is depreciated faster than the finance payments so I am currently in negative equityI paid £21K about 2 years ago for it and they are valuing it at £9.5K with a settlement of £13K, not good. I can terminate now with a small cost of £600 or wait another two payments and that will be zero. I know I am trying to change cars early on within my current scheme which is always bad but I was a bit surprised that my current Audi is depreciated so fast
sign of the times I guess. Knew I should of brought a B8 and not a B7!
36k is a lot more realistic than 40 though - there are better RS6s out there for 40k. 36k must be one of the cheapest in the approved network. Mugello wouldn't be my preference - its not going to as popular come resale as Daytona, Phantom or Sepang.
