RS6 tyres - who has what
The Yoko was an OEM tyre on the D3 S8 IIRC.
I understand the Michelin confusion. The PS3 has been brought out to replace the PS2. I have PS2s on my Maserati but they don't say '2' anywhere on them but they are as the '1' has not been made for a while and mine are date stamped 2009.

Maserati GranTurismo GTS Auto, S3 Sportback, TT2 3.2 Roadster, Disco3 for the heavy stuff.

RE: CAMSKILL ONLINE
I'm about to need a new set for mine all the way around.
Can't believe how quickly I've got through them in only 8500 miles. My merc e63 amg used to last about 14000 and I didn't drive any differently.
So what are the best for the car? I'm not impressed with the p zero's that are fitted now. They are bad for tramlining and overall don't inspire that much confidence.
I had Continental sport contact 3 on my merc and found them okay +kwik fit have got them on offer for £250 a corner at the moment.
Any advice appreciated.

I've lost a fricking tyre (front left), had to take evasive action on a slip road whilst some cretin piled across the chevrons without taking any notice of anyone else. Over a kerb, now have a bulging side wall. I have Dunlops from new, presumably SP Sport Maxx. I'd prefer not to replace all four, anyone have experience of replacing one or a pair?
Was just looking as will need to replace soon .. PS3 look to be only available up to 19 inch rims .... no 20's so I hope any one considering Michelins can get PS2's

Can some one explain how a Pirelli PZero (Audi) 275/35 R20 Y (102) is 42 Quid more than a Pirelli PZero 275/35 R20 Y (102)
Surely a Y rating is a Y rating (186mph / 300 kph) and a load rating of 102 is a load rating of 102 (850 Kilos) ????

Manual states that tyres on an axle should have similar tread wear / depth .. For some reason I was always of an opinion that all 4 tyres in a Quattro system should be of similar wear .. however can find no "supporting" documentation to that (probably some dealer miss info years ago to me)doodlebug wrote:I've lost a fricking tyre (front left), had to take evasive action on a slip road whilst some cretin piled across the chevrons without taking any notice of anyone else. So I guess its a 2 tyre change for you and hang onto the "worn but not damaged" one as a spare for the next time

Thanks matey. I suspected it might be an axle pair, but hadn't thought to check the manual. Still too peeved!
I'm coming up to 10k so I guess I'm not far from all four being required anyway, might just bite the bullet and get four.
I had a quick look on http://www.mytres.com, they have two versions of the Dunlops:
Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX GT 275/35 R20 102Y XL with rim protection, J at £257.40
Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX GT 275/35 R20 102Y XL with rim protection, RO1 at £269.30
It isn't clear what the difference is, unless one is manafacturer designated. Similar to the Pirellis, surely the tyre spec is the tyre spec!
I don't fancy the Pirellis given the feedback here and the PS2 seem like rocking horse sh!t.
