I'll suggest a weekend trip down to SW4 very soon. I'm sure the ladies will find something to talk about while we sit outside comparing exhaust notes.

:D
A brace of RS6s outside the house would look pretty cool. :smile_smoking:

We could do our own weekend version of the Gumball Rally just stop off at a few shops to keep the girls happy and possibly Euro Disney to keep the kids in tow. :bigblink:

So Gav, did you pluck up the courage to pick up the new wheels?

Oh yes. Just got back. 24 hour delay after the ladies in my life both picked up a stomach bug on Friday.

First impressions are it's not as big as I thought it was going to be. In a good way. Admittedly the A11 isn't Cadwell Park, but placing the car is a lot easier than I thought it would be. The only time you remember it's over two tonnes is when you're slowing down for junctions and roundabouts. I got caught out a couple of times by that. Ooops.

It's a lot quieter and better insulated than the RS4 which is, I suppose, what left me feeling cold on the test drive last March. The interior is a lot better put together too. Lots of toys, which of course I'll come and ask you all about, rather than read the manual. I reckon the parking camera will come in useful in London.

Audi Norwich were pleasant enough to deal with, and my wife got the usual bouquet of flowers (which I tested the load area fixing kit with - I'm pleased to announce it worked).

Now where are the keys? I'm off out again.
