Better priced. Cost/benefit analysis now neutral. A dyno before/after showing the good stuff would be the dealbreaker. (Oh who am I kidding I will prolly buy this next year anyway!)

i broke my phone at lemans....

So the only photo i have is one from underneath of these fitted.

I can say that honestly the quality of the old pipes are shocking, well worn and very very soft. i can feel a little bit of a difference when it comes on boost but not one worth writing about.
its mainly gonna be for looks and preventative maintenance.
gives you a good chance to clean out the oil in your coolers/pipes too! cos there will be oil i promise!

I read on a sale ad that someone had an aluminum BOV made by Forge. I can't find it on their page.

Also reading the "BOV and boost pressure" thread, referring to Forge BOVs...

Thinking for further upgrade / TTE850.

I'll be looking to replace my OEM's with the FORGE one's pretty soon, do we go through the website cited above or do we order via yourselves?

Fair play to you Tom. This is the only way other owners get the choice of components. My son wanted to add a boost valve and induction kit to his brand new A1. It was forge who actually did a kit for both. Top quality and perfect fit. Just for your effort to make it happen I will Oder a set tomorrow. Well done mate ( Thumbs up )

Farravi - Tom did all the work and deserves all the credit, I just sent him my dirty old pipes :D

As for ordering we have nothing to do with Forge sales so just order them through their website.

Cheers fella! much appreciated, i really like the look and feel of the pipes, certainly not hard to fit, take you no more than 45mins with a ramp.. literally remove the undertray and its 4 jubilee clips underneath and 4 on top of the engine.
good to remove the oil buildup from the stock pipes too, and when you compare how worn and "soft" the old pipes are its a worthwhile upgrade.

No problem at all mate :) thanks for that, certainly a good company and can genuinely say that i think they have made a difference i mean you probably wont notice any power increases but as i said above feeling how soft the oem pipes are it can only improve by having a firmer pipe which is also brand new.
What colour you going for?

Near side about 30ml offside between 500 to 750ml. The car just started using oil. Audi said it was normal usage. It's all fixed now two new uprated turbos :biggrin3:

Sorry guys I have let you down. After a long conversation with my garage it was thought these would give very minimal if any gains over stock. They are much better quality and I fitted them. Loads of oil in the offside pipe on removal. I decided against the rolling road comparison Due to cost for two sessions nearly £200 and it was going to be difficult to make sure both sessions are under exactly the same conditions. Top quality and very happy with the fit.
