MRC used Bosch F5DPOR on 3 of the 900+ cars they've mapped that I know of (mine, Trups and the red 1024ps one). They are one step colder than OEM but they are also "side-firing" which supposedly reduces the tip temperature compared to traditional style plugs (so less chance of detonation).

One thing I saw on AudiSRS was Doug from MRC saying that these should be replaced every 10k miles on tuned engines, which is news to me as he never mentioned this when I picked up the car!

Thanks Ian...

I bought the NGK Race Plugs "9" - but seems to be too cold and causing sometimes missfires...so I will test the Bosch ones, which you recommend me.

Tried to send you a PM, but always it appears a message "This user does not exist"

I have ordered today the Bosch plugs which you recommend me...

Do I have to change the electrode distance, or leave the spark plugs like they are?

Greeting from Germany

LOL, I'd report it to the forum mods incase their software is broken. In the meantime I've PM'd you my e-mail address instead!
