Update....

1. Gearbox conked out and needs replacement - On order
2. Some oil cooler pipes - On order
3. Intercooler pipes - On Order
4. Lights need replacement - On order
5. Clicking (wheel bearing) awaiting investigation..

Thank God for Warranty!! otherwise i wouldve been sc$£@ed

The car would be imported from the EU country but obviously would not be the UK spec. I guess the non-UK spec would have the same effect. Perhaps I would need to call Audi directly to ask about it.

I just took out a Comprehensive policy with Audi/Mondial.
Gone for £250 excess without breakdown cover.

They were really helpful over the phone, I spoke to a guy called Jason.

My car back....

New gearbox. New Pipes going to gearbox, new rear lights cluster and centre brake light cluster.

The clicking is still there... So I will get on the blower again and see what happens..

When I bought mine it had the above warranty. Great warranty but <beep> admin from Mondial. They lost my cheque, so I sent another, then they cashed both took a while to sort out clearly they employ biffs. The warranty is great probably because the biffs have nothing to do with actually fixing your car

I take it all back. Second time around they could not have been more efficient. All the paperwork came through within a week. Well done Audi extended warranty
