Does ECU Upgrade Improve Throttle Response on RS6 C6?
Does ECU Upgrade Improve Throttle Response on RS6 C6?
Hi everyone, I’m considering upgrading the ECU on my 2008-2010 RS6 C6 to improve throttle response and overall driving feel. I’m curious if anyone here has tried an ECU upgrade on this model and noticed a significant difference in throttle response or driving experience? Are there any risks to the engine or warranty I should be aware of?

Just so that the terms you used are clearly understood - do you mean upgrade to be "a replacement, better ECU" or do you mean upgrade as in "a re-map of the existing ECU"?
I ask because saying "upgrade" usually would mean fitting a new, better device, and I'm not sure there is any way to do that easily on the RS6, whereas a re-map of the existing is widely used and well known about and is usually just called a re-map, rather than an "upgrading the ECU", so I just wanted to clarify which of those two you meant.
