Hi team,
I have falling in love with my recent Audi RS6 C6 but am after a rear diffuser (not MAXTON as their particular model doesnt fit properly - BEWARE). Do you guys have aby suggestions?
Also after the engine cover AUDI rings... looking at a carbon fibre engine cover and then attaching audi rings that they include myself. Any tips guys?
Appreciate any feedback or guidance!
Rear Diffuser - Engine Cover Rings
Re: Rear Diffuser - Engine Cover Rings
Hi Macca -
Carbon Engine Cover - I don't know of any company that makes these other than Audi and they're bloody expensive for such a small piece of Carbon. The rings can't be bought separately from Audi so I took my rings from my old plastic engine cover and transferred them over to my OEM Carbon one I found on eBay.
The rings have four small "poles" on the reverse which push through holes in the cover to mount the rings flush and then 4 small round plastic clips on the inside of the cover are used to hold the poles in in place. The poles are extremely delicate and the plastic clips are extremely tough (I'm sure there's a little glue in there holding the poles) so be very careful.

MAXTON - They just sell the same generic Chinese made ABS stuff as a bunch of other sites like MM-Concepts in Germany etc (even uses the same pictures) and none of the stuff is that great quality TBF but the only folks I know who make good quality parts are ILR Carbon in Germany but they're super expensive because their stuff is all Carbon Fibre (Carbon Diffuser is £750 - https://www.ilr-carbon.com/en/exterior- ... fuser.html

Re: Rear Diffuser - Engine Cover Rings
Ah that explains it, the part number isn't a RS6 specific item so it'll probably be cheaper to buy toopcorpe wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 11:28 amyup i did, from here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223095113769

OMG, thank you. I have been looking for these bloody rings as well "4H0103940A". Initially thought I would have to buy something like this just to sort the rings https://www.ebay.com/itm/166930346602
