I got kw’s installed, very happy with that. Rear had broken hoses so I think fronts are ok. Will have the hoses replaced and sell them.

Enquired with Audi Maidstone on my order and was told this has been updated to Del end of FEB, not good, if I had known that I would ordered something else.....oh well.....may take the old unit off over Xmas and see where the leak is

That’s crazy because they are actually in stock in Kassel says my dealer. Should just cancel order and get KW’s, never have to deal with that terrible patent again. Great when it works although not much difference with coilovers really.

I had to Pay in advance, which is a pain, I've got 2 weeks off during Xmas may take it off and see if it can be serviced, if only temporary ..it's not like I can do much else...

It seems to be the common practice with Audi dealers now - anything over a certain value and you have to pay before they order it. It's down to Audi who now won't accept returns - once something has been ordered the dealership has to pay for it. Similar with core exchanges, if the core isn't returned within a certain time (think I was told 21 days) then the dealership is charged.

I took the old failed unit off and cleaned it up, it has a load of corrosion on the rod just in one area, the unit is not really repairable as it is welded and not fitted with a screw cap retainer...

diamond washer 1K0 505 193

2 top mount bolts N907 583 02

Just been told by Audi Maidstone that they now (and this is Audi) saying they can't give a release date, so unless anyone has a second hand unit/s lying around I guess I'm putting KW's on... please ping me on 07899 996 281

Finally got my money back from Audi after they couldn't source a OS rear Shock...so i have no choice but to go after market

Not wanting to go the Full KW V3 (i had this on my 996 Turbo) very good but was more track focused....

I've got some H&R coil overs, just ordered new bump stops and gaiters then its spanner time
