Retrofit newer steering wheel to RS6 C6

Hi all,

I have seen a few owners retrofitting the new RS4 or even R8 steering wheels on their RS6 C6.
Has anyone done it or have any contact that does not need an arm & leg?
Any feedback, experience & contacts are more than welcome

I dare say it would be a straight swap as these cars already have a “high line” steering modules and squib which would accept the multifunction steering wheel and controls. Not sure about the start button though.

Hazy dayz would be my first point of call.

I was told here in Greece by a specialist it can be done, needs an extra ecu.
I was quoted 1000euro installed.

Currently I like to keep the car as stock as possible so I opted for a new original leather one
