Hi,
New member here, just bought my first RS6, a 2010 Black RS6 plus - absolutely love it (not as good on the windy roads as my Golf R32 but better overall)
Thinking of a few mods and any advice would be appreciated:
Exhaust with valves on the rear boxes from Profusion Customs, quiet when needed but loud when i want it..
Trups headlight upgrade - not sure exactly what yet
Keyless entry, MMI update and Android auto from Hazzydayz
MRC stage 2 map and gearbox map
after when parts start to wear ....AP discs all round with DS2500 pads.
looking forward to driving it more and some interaction on here.
Paul

Congrats on the purchase Paul, I have a Plus and a Golf R32 for town driving, twins! Get some photos up and if you're on Instagram, awesome. In terms of mods, I've only had my car since lockdown, running a milltek, bmc filters and an APR stage 1 by the first owner but MRC map and gearbox map is definitely the way to go as well as the AP discs. Looking forward to seeing your car develop.

Hi
I would highly recommend H&R anti roll bar kit. Substantially improves roll and gives better initial turn in. Roughly £300 plus fitting.
Also, while you're waiting for a BBK, the "Phaeton" mod well worth it too, search on here. Really improves initial "bite" and helps reduce brake fade. £100 ish plus fitting.
Consider 3" downpipes at same time you do exhaust prior to tune.
When you get the stage 2 map, get sports air filters.
The last MMI update was 5570, AFAIK they stopped updated it years ago for this model. Can easily get it free of the internet.
Enjoy

Hi Paul,
Thats a pretty good list of core upgrades already, there's nothing extra "needed" but there a few suggestions already made here that are good but not essential over what you've already written TBH.

Thanks for the advice guys, loving the car, the H&R anti roll bars sound good, made a huge difference to my R32...

The H&R bars on mine made a noticeable difference. Firstly the car generally felt stiffer - so if you imagine the 3 suspension settings of Comfort, Dynamic and Sport as 1-2-3 then post H&R they felt like 1.5-2.5-3.5 with each setting now a little stiffer than previously. Secondly I permanently drive around in Dynamic and it really sharpened up the front end and reduced some of the understeer, and when I pushed it really hard on track days the usual Audi understeer was heavily reduced.Phuketpaul wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 7:23 pmThanks for the advice guys, loving the car, the H&R anti roll bars sound good, made a huge difference to my R32...
I think they're a good mod for anyone who wishes to push the car a little in the twistys. However if you're more of a "straight line" lover then they're not really necessary.
