Side fans activation

Side fans in front of the intercoolers. Are they coolant or intake air temperature related? Had 103c coolant and 57c IAT and they still won't run?
Any idea what temperature they shoud run?

Just checked the side fans relay and fuse which are located in engine bay under the ECU's. They are both fine but there is no +12v coming to the fuse.
Find some wiring diagram and the source of 12v is unit 344. Anyone got idea what unit 344 is?

It's not a unit. it's the number of the current track it connects to. Unless Audi have changed their schematics, look along the bottom of the diagrams until you find 344, then you should find what it's connected to.

And it's on the same diagram - fuse S94. Exactly where it is, I've no idea as I've still to get my head around ELSA.
