Idling at higher revs

Lately i have noticed that the car is idling at a higher rev than it is supposed to be at, it's intermittent and because my car has custom exhaust, I tend to notice it because of the sound. I have connected VAG to it and it didn't throw any errors so i am bit baffled. My only conclusion is when she went for a servicing lately, the BCM air filters were renewed / cleaned using the BCM cleaning kit and I suspect the filters didn't dry out quite enough before reinstalling them ?
