Me and my mechanic had a good poke around, lights off car etc. and managed to get the drivers side sorted by replacing the bulb, but the passenger side less than interesting in actuating the shutter to get main beam. So you go talk to the guy who knows about this type of stuff, Trups! What an absolute legend, tells me that he had seen this once before where one of the wires inside the headlight becomes stretched and snaps off with the adaptive headlights. So shipped the lights down to him, he worked his magic, was able to repair the wiring but also would be rude not to have a projector upgrade while the light is split apart.
The end result, bloody amazing, have also got a Polish friend who is a bit handy with light refinishing so he has reworked the lens before they have gone back on the car, will get some photos uploaded of the lights in action but for now daylight pics only
