Disc Skimming in the North East

Hi Struggling to find somewhere to get my front discs skimmed in the Newcastle / North East Area

Discs are fine for normal driving round town but at north of the speed limit there is a slight pulse when braking hard, I am thinking a skim will sort them out, at 35.3mm they are not quite half worn yet, so a new set seems excessive.

Ideally looking to get them cut on the hub (like a Procut machine) but most places who have the kit cant seem to cope with a 390mm disc, happy to hear if people of had them done differently with decent results as well.

Does anyone have any recommendations in the area?

For anyone else interested, i finally found someone with the correct kit. Most standard wheel skimming equipment wont fit a 390mm disc, but after 2hrs of grinding his 9k machine this garage made it fit and did an excellent job. M&M Garages, Snowdon Road, Middlesbrough, TS2 1DB. Done on the hub with a Procut machine and cost me £140 for the fronts (significantly cheaper than new discs)

If you know the right people at Euro car parts then you can get discs for the right money identical to the Audi part just been pulled of the production line before it had Audi stamped into it

Yes cured the issue fine, much better now and no judder at all. Significantly cheaper than new discs that just weren't needed
