Hose clips coming off, solutions?

Noticed my hose clips keep coming loose, is there a solution? New clips, different brand clips or do most switch to a samco hose hose and new clips?

Cheers

I feel you want to replace them you want to buy Murray constant tension clips !

They are standard kit for wrc teams high boost applications world wide , they will not loosen or blow off due to the design of them.

They ain't cheap but worth every penny ! 2 places I know sell them are sfs hoses and Owen developments

Had the same, the problem isn't the clamp loosening, it's the lip of the rubber hose being too short to stop the clamp being pulled off the end of the hose when the intake pipe moves during gear change.

Audi have redesigned the rubber hose in 2009-10 with a bigger lip to stop it happening so I got a new set and haven't had it happen in 9 months+!

New Pt No - 07L145746G
Old Pt No - 07L145746F

Each hose comes with 2 new clamps so you don't have to buy more however they are ridiculously expensive for what they are £53.80 per side!

Alternatively a big Mikalor clamp does the same job 10% of the cost but looks horrible.

that's why you want Murray clips look like a standard jubilee clip but 100 times better I ran a high powered tdi a few years back making 2.5 bar boost never once had an issue
