I forgot to add that J197 (level control) is starting to throw up VCDS codes but nothing on the DIS yet so one of the sensors will be failing.

Diff - 95% fixed, just needs the internal shims adjusting slightly as, after uber extreme emergency late braking (AP's are fun), there's a second of noise as the diff shifts inside the housing a fraction more than it should. It's just finding time to sort it as work ramps up massively on the run up to April (financial year end).

I'll stick up a proper review after I eventually get some decent pics but short answer - Oh Hell Yeah!

And judging from the state of the inside shoulders of the front tyres a decent alignment job wouldn't go amiss on my car but going by the piss-poor and expensive job the local Audi dealer did on one of my quattros some years ago it isn't going there for that so I need to find somewhere.
I think a gearbox oil change should be on the list too.

I'd better add - 2 new tyres - now had 8 in 13 months - 1 proper nail through tyre puncture and 7 sidewall tears, yay narrow countryside roads with moron Kent drivers!!!!!

Spent most of yesterday with various spray cans. Titanium was a bit meh and body colour (Phantom Black) was just wrong.
Anthracite really looks good and nothing but complements so far - even from one of my mates who is seriously picky about such things.

So on Saturday I'll drop into the place that does my coating and see when I can get them booked in for a proper job.

A bit over a month back, I wrote: Central console coin tray - investigate and correct cause of cover not retracting, possible foreign object
Turned out to be two objects. After something of a struggle (and some Googling) I removed the trim between the ac controls and the ashtray to remove £2.50. A further struggle then ensued to get the trim back into place - which it is, but doesn't seem as secure as it was. Bet it's going to rattle.
I've also plastic welded a broken tab on the left side cover in the boot, so that's sorted too.
Spent another hour searching for the home of a hex-socket set screw that I found knocking around on top of the wheel well cover, without any luck.
