I had enough of the 'boneheads' when I had my R34 Skyline, the attention put me off having another "flash" car for life. The worst example has to be as I was driving to a Drum exhibition somewhere in central London in around 2004/5 and a very aggressive bunch of 18yo-ish lads blocked the road so they could take pictures.

I agree the c6 lacks in the aggressive look department but when you see one on the road coming towards you then going past into the horizon they do look great and wide. The c6 looks OK on its own but next to a c7 the c7 is just so good looking ...this is the best pic I have of my car at the moment. ..

Yeap, plus camera phones were still "fairly" new then so "selfies" weren't a thing meaning that, instead, people would come up and ask 'me' to take of 'them' next to (or even sat inside) the car. There was always the "can I sit in and rev it mate? - what do you mean No? **** off you snobby ****!" etc Chavs that the "Fast and Furious" films and the Jap car scene attracted at the time in the Lincolnshire area where I lived.

I was delayed for 30 minutes in my works car park one night last week by a lad who had clocked the car as I left the night before so had knocked off early and waited around to admire the car when I finished work.
Just about every courier who delivers to my house seems to spend 5-10 minutes telling me about all the performance cars they've owned - "Got a STi, goes like stink" etc etc.
