Water marks on window trim

Hi guys anyone else had this issue with water marks on the trim ? Does anyone have any advice or products to use to remove them ? As most products seem to be to polish them which I wouldn't think I would want to do

hi do you mean the outside aluminium trim ?? regards tony

It's oxidation which has progressively got worse over the years - best bet is to use a polishing compound by hand help take edge off but you won't remove completely.

Yeah outside trim its only a little bit under the wing mirrors , i didnt know if it was a chemical that had been used in the past to clean it

If it had been protected from the outset then you would be ok - I will find out what my detailer used on mine to make it better than it was

If you could that would be good mate ! Not that they are bad by any stretch of the imagination but still want them to look as they should !

And if they not bad then if u can sort them now and protect them with something then easier to maintain in long run plus better to look at
