Took my C6 for its mot Saturday - straight through but upon arriving home and stopping on my driveway, warning light popped up and neither the DRLs are working.
It's the first time the car has been used for a couple of months (been on trickle charge).
This happened once before but after switching off/on again, all was ok!
Anyone else had this or any ideas? Looked under the bonnet and in the handbook - I cannot get to these personally, suggest a visit to Audi.
DRL / sidelights stopped working
Re: DRL / sidelights stopped working
Same happened to mine, it was the ECU, under the dash somewhere. Basingstoke fixed it under warranty, at the time there was an issue with the original ECUs, there was a delay as a new one (not sure if just for RS6) was due. There was a hold on the parts catalogue that said call the factory if for RS6.
If yours is out of warranty, I would suspect the ECU could be repaired, it's probably just a power transistor that's blown, higher current for the RS6 DRLs as more LEDs than non-RS6.

Re: DRL / sidelights stopped working
Try toggling the DRL option in the MMI from on/off
Re: DRL / sidelights stopped working
Any condensation inside the main headlights ?
Ex RS6 C6 Driver, gone but not forgotten.. The best car I have ever owned
Re: DRL / sidelights stopped working
Cheers all
Toggled the Mimi - didn't fix it. Checked for condensation - none.....so could be the ecu I guess. Will run it for a bit and see if it fixes itself again. Fingers crossed.

Re: DRL / sidelights stopped working
So, I'm presently at QST having a new headlight fitted...and boy the lengths these guys are going to to make sure all is as it should be is impressive. Can't recommend them enough.
Re: DRL / sidelights stopped working
Is it wrong to 'enjoy' spending £1200 on 'a replacement bulb'!!!!!
