Don't do it. Find a different dealer, if the worse does happen you will have zero comeback.

Thanks for the advice guys. That's what I was thinking so if they fcuk the oil change upfor any reasons, they will just put their hands up and blame me...

I might as well go to a specialist to do the work knowing it will be done properly and I can overlook the work. The Audi stamp is not worth getting ripped off and no come backs if the worst happens.

I don't have warranty so the yearly oil change is not going to matter much TBO. Unless, I find another stealer that will allow me to use my own oil and not wanting me to sign a disclaimer then I'll go specialist.

I have mine booked in today (met a fellow C6'er in the car park !) but the service guy insisted on charging me for 10 litres - I provided 8 as per everyone's advice

Where's the other two litres going ? Is he having me over ? Its not as if the amount can vary - it's either 8 litres or 10 !

Can anyone help before I collect later

The very max is 8 lts. Don't let them pull one over you.

the car takes 8lts, but i was asked to supply ten (and got the odd back at the end of the day) - think its to cover spilages and what not. Besides, with these engines, i've found its good to have some handy for a top up now and then.

Cheers, I am not being charged extra for them being clumsy and spilling loads ! Should be an interesting conversation when I collect later :audibash:

Classba, I didn't have to sign a disclaimer either, they never mentioned it

That's great. I had my oil change with an independent in the end and was able to watch the whole process which was interesting.
