Picked my beast up a few days ago and will be posting some pics soon, gotta sort the faulty LEDs, front lights and oil level sensor! Let the audi visits begin...

Black optics can be retro-fitted but its not an easy job and pretty expensive for the parts now.

Circa £550 for all the door trim and around £900 for the grill I believe.

I think I read that the door trims are riveted in place and that the rear quarter glass has to come out.

The grill should be about £200. I bought one for $330 over here 5 years ago.

They are considerably more than that now.

Ebay starts at £650 and as i said im sure the Audi RRP is now circa £900

Nice looking RS6.

Welcome to C6ness! very catching

If you want black optic look. just have the alloy door trim wrapped in matte black 3M.The frnt grille and boot rear chrome strip in gloss black.

Very close to black optic look, only around $300 and advantage you can reverse back to original by peeling off the wrap.

I have had my wrap on for two years now and still in pristine condition.
