RS6 sound

Just went to have a look at a 2010 Black RS6 here in Johannesburg...must say in the flesh they are beautiful cars

Only thing i was surprised about was how quiet it sounded. Anyone out there got any sound clips of one with a better exhaust?

FYG full maintenance and freeway plan in tact to 2015, 44kms on clock...ZAR750k/GBP60k...pricey hey

mine sounds awesome from outside with milly ... 96dB is hardly quiet

but remember the C6 is very well insulated and esp if it has doubleglazing

I'm reliably informed that my car with the standard exhaust is a *lot* louder in the back. I've yet to experience it.

Hi @hibeckley, I think I know the one you're referring to - Audi Sandton, right?
I'm holding myself back from going to view it cause I cant guarantee that I wont sign up for it as a replacement for my RS4..
Having sat in one recently, to @adam's comment above, its alot louder in the rear (more fun for the passengers)..

Btw, to answer your question, there's a number of clips on YouTube, if you search under "Audi RS6 V10 / C6" you should be okay there..
