From the description of the fault I would suspect that an electrical transient occurred, these can be really nasty hence 3 blown ECU's. Anything else that was connected at the time could also be damaged but not failing yet, if this was my car I would trade it in or at the very least get some cast iron guarantee from Audi GmbH over and above the warranty on the electrics for several years.

Audi took the RS6 back in July and very kindly gave me an S8 until the RS5 arrives...Its here now so i leave you sadly for the RS5 forum!

The RS5 is a nice car, I had an extended loan in one before Christmas.

It sounds lovely too, even standard.
RS6 Saloon (C6), Daytona Grey, Ceramic Anchors, MRC Mapped, High-Flow Filters, De-Cat Millteks, MRC Gearbox Map.

757bhp, 713 lb/ft torque.

Q7 V12 6.0 TDI, Ice Silver, Bang & Olufsen, 21" wheels, Ceramic Anchors, K&N Filters, MRC Mapped .

600bhp, 917 lb/ft torque
