Wheels - buckled

Post by Bushy » Tue Oct 26, 2010 5:18 am

So the stealer tells me i have one wheel they cannot balance and a new one is £875 plus VAT. My tyre place reckon i need 2!!

Anyone esle having issues

Anyone know where I can get cheaper wheels

Or has anyone fitted aftermarket rims?

For nearly £2k for new rims do i go for an aftermarket solution?
Can't beat a bit of boost!

I've always been a bit of a fan of the MTM 21"s

Have heard they can be a bit soft though... and 3,360 EUR!!.. I like them though!!

If you're looking to part fund them by getting rid of your standard 20" alloys let me know. I've got the (boring) 7 spokers and I keep thinking about a set of 5 spokes.

ha ha ok... ya beat me to the next post... let me have a think and I'll let you know. Mine have a new (<500ml) set of P Zero's on but two wheels have a slight scuff (don't ask, flaming Dartford toll booth!! ) one about an inch one about inch n half, will post pics if I decide to change.

Will let you know over the next couple of days either way!

They look like this:

Or at least they did when I bought the car. All I'll say is they're wider than you think these bloody RS6s. Nothing serious, but they could do with sprucing up.
