So has anyone else had issues with the tailgate no opening?

Either from remote or using boot handle it takes a good 3-10 times for the damn thing to open

Need ot get it in to the stealer, but wondering if others are having an issue?

Touch wood I've had no such issue with mine.
I think the worst thing for me though is that the in car release is situated too low down in the door pocket. I've caught it a few times while reaching for something and opened it by accident. I can't get out of the car (I'm in a wheelchair and need someone to get my chair from the boot) and feel a right wally asking a passer by to press the button on the tail gate!
It would be better if it was situated either higher up and out of the door pocket or have a delay so you need to hold the release for three seconds before it opens the tail gate.

The only problem I've had is that every now and then it opens approximately half way and I have to push it to fully open. Thereafter it is ok for a bit.

Yes, i had lots of intermitent problems - same thing the key fob wouldnt work or manual open. I had to use the switch inside the door or restart the engine. however, my battery packed up and since it was replaced Ive not had any problems. It could be your battery starting to go.
