Nudenut, your car looks the biz actually saw a black c6 on the m25 about midday last saturday tinted rears looked very moody.

I zymol'd my car few weeks back and the paint work came up a treat. I've used a few combos over the months and so far had the best results with Zymol, used HD cleanse, Ebony, Glasur and then topped of with Field Glaze do this every other week. Car looks really wet and the lustre very deep and shiney.

Would work great on your car Nudenut.........

I was away in Paris last weekend... will have to check with the Mrs that she wasn't out for a cruise even if she maintains my car is too big & scares the cr4p out of her to drive I know she dosen't mean it! LOL

Have to admit it was a close call between Black and Sepang when I bought it and was the spec that swayed it in the end, just!!

gdavisons looks great top of page!! I have the silver nappa also, like the contrast!!

I love the Britemax #6S it makes drying and finishing off so easy and leaves a great deap sheen with little effort... on a good day I'll still give her a once over with Red Mist, yes it's an addiction!!

when you ready to buy new products give Zymol a go the glasur has been designed to work with german paints! I've had best of show on mine and other waxes but really do rate the zymol range highly and the beading and protection is fantastic.....

Aye Nudenut.. decided a good starting base will help me .. Robbie at Valet Magic did a bang up job.. well recommended IMO

Forgive me for being naive but does detailing do more than bring the car back to its origninal showroom sparkle? Does it give the paintwork added protection against the elements?

Detailing is extreme car cleaning, every nook and cranny is catered for. The most common service is paintwork correction (machine polishing) - all those horrible swirl marks a thing of the past. It's common for new cars to have swirls, often dealer new car prep is average at best.

Generally there is a machine polish, often several stages followed by a sealant or wax of choice, most will provide greater protection than any dealer offering.
