If it helps, My RS6 Avant, Manufactured around Dec 08, finally bought (long story) this saturday is MMI 3G

mine has these fogs

They are in the main light cluster

Sorry for the newbie question chaps, how do I know if mine is a 3g or 2g?
Bought last month, but has been sitting in the showroom for 6 months.

Monza Silver was second choice after Daytona Grey, thankfully I was able to find the right DG car.

MMI 3G has a DVD player in the glovebox and SD card slots. Also the MMI controller has a little joystock on top of the large MMI knob which is noy shown in that link to the MMI 3G, it has a 2G MMI panel.
