Does anyone know exactly what that weird bassy noise is? Is it some kind of dump-valve? Even evo mag loves it: Quote "The real icing on the cake, though, is when the auto gearbox grabs another gear. There’s clearly some very clever electronics at work, almost like some sort of anti-lag device, as when the next gear pops home, what sounds like a slight backfire can be heard before full power unleashes again. Ka-boom! It sounds so cool."

Does anyone know what this sound is?

Its the flux capacitor.......

Its the sound of the restraints taking the load of the thrust each time he changes up.......And he doesn't walk in the bonnet!
It's all Bollox.

Looks like he is walking over the fan positioned at the front of the car to feed air.

No he walks on the bonnet to avoid the intense field from the flux capacitor.

Still astounds me that tuners put these on the rolling roads and not tie them down scary
