Milltek Sport non-resonated

Post by J4ESE » Mon Apr 05, 2010 8:49 am

Hi

Just had fitted Milltek Sport non-resonated :D , WOW sounds like a F1 car fully recommend.

Having remap on Thursday by DMS the recon they can get around +48 BHP and +45 lb/ft of torque.

Hey J4ese,
How's the re-map? Does it make the throttle a bit less sharp? What's better/worse? How much?
How much was the Milltek and is it much louder in the cruise?

Hi Russ

Yes the map I think was worth it, it’s much better response in all gears and you can tell the BHP and torque has improved it feels totally different and yes I would say it makes the throttle a bit less sharp, DMS came to my house and it cost £950.

The Miltek, what can I say it’s the best money I have ever spent, it sounds great and it’s got a very deep rumble when just plodding alone, again well worth the money £1200.

It sound just like this one on YouTube

Thanks Jesse,
That's an amazing engine note; it's not TOO loud, is it?

If you just tooting along it’s not too bad but if you floor it every one looks around, but what a sound I have never heard anything like it.

Hi,

You say they came to your house and produced a map which added 48BHP and 45 lbs/ft torque. Can you post some kind of dyno sheet or proof of this?

Its no secret that I have used/been afiliated to other tuners and I cant get my head around these figures whatsoever, so, some guidance on how this has been achieved would be grand.

I have one now and am really intered in this.

Cheers
