S5 convertible v6t newbie

Post by Beefyblades1 » Mon Nov 12, 2018 12:10 am

So my mrs wanted a 435i convertible to replace her mk7 golf gtd due to a change of job and no more motorway miles, managed to convince her into an 2012 S5 v6 t, it was on 44k so not too bad needed a wheels off detail 2 stage polish but came up really nice!

What can I say, It’s a great car, nice power, sure footed was a bit worried as my mrs has never owned a car with anything like this power, I fear the wheels may be in for a hard life though 265/30/20’s aren’t gonna have much chance there. But really does feel special the bmw 435i didn’t even compare I our eyes. It’s that good it makes me think about selling my rs6 and throwing some money at the S5 as the power that can be had from the 3.0t in these is quite good I’ve heard.

i can vouch for the non special feeling bmw. I have a 335d xdrive to use for driving to the airport and leaving there every week. it is without doubt, the most boring car ive ever driven. secretly every week I come back to it in the car park im hoping its been stolen. however it costs me £212 a month on a business lease, but that's the only thing I cant moan abvout, its not even any good on fuel lol
