The modding begins
Re: The modding begins
If you got the RS you'd have still needed t ospend money to get it looking how you want so more ££££££. And the S5 remapped = wow, much more to gain and put you on similar peformance to the RS.
Re: The modding begins
In my eyes it doesn't matter what you get, you get used to it and crave for more. The S5 currently does 0-60 in 4.7 which in reality is quick yet I still want the remap.MikeFish wrote:If you got the RS you'd have still needed t ospend money to get it looking how you want so more ££££££. People on forums mostly tend to mod something.

Re: The modding begins
Yes it did.
And it was silent as a mouse.
But on the FL cars the sports zorst is much better

Re: The modding begins
I was surprised how loud that RS5 you took me for a spin in was for a bone stock Audi!

Re: The modding begins
Hi
How are you getting on with all the mods?
I'm contemplating a valved Milltek for my V8 S5 Tip and also a remap. Would consider spacers but slightly nervous...
Any advise would be great!

Re: The modding begins
Well in August I decided to stop modding and just buy an RS 5 (as that was what I really wanted) with exhuast buckets and ceramics so no moding really needed on that.
I have just sold the RS 5 and am going sensible for a bit to save for the next beast.
Spacers looked a treat on my S5 when combined with the lowering springs. Worth every penny as it felt better to drive and looked better. The arch gap on the S5, well the 3.0T, was awful.
