That S8 sounds superb! My issue would be getting past the boss. She would most assuredly say it is too loud. She already beats me up when I accelerate too fast.
I had considered an S8, but they are hovering around $8k more than S6s. Ended up with an '07 phantom black pearl/black with cold and hot weather packs; and tech pack S6 with 50k. Got the dealer to throw in a 55k service for $32k. Had all the coils replaced at 47k.
Here Houston Beemers and Mercs abound. The Audis are just catching on. I had 5 series before and the S6 is roomier.

Lol! Yep I think you have a point!
Re: V10 and Milltek - match made in heaven !
We are working on an all new exhaust, with full long tube headers, cat/o2 relocation for performance and maintenance (no more engine drop to get to the upper o2s/cats) and full tuned and matched catback exhaust.
I dont mean to put down the Milltech, but ours will be much nicer, and designed for performance (Milltech is only 2.36mm...stock is 2.25)

We have a non res Milltek S6 V10. It doesn't always have to be screaming to draw attention. The deep (and loud) sounds get noticed even when stooging around town at low speed.
I pulled up the other day outside the Coop and an old guy walked up to me and said "Just what engine is in that car? It sounds amazing!" As the black car looks so understated I don't really think he thought I was serious when I told him what was making the noise. Clearly when we left I accidently had foot down on start up which in our small village can make a few windows vibrate!
I love this car!!!
