S6 newbie

Hi all,

Finally got hold of a nice S6 Avant, in sprint blue with silver leather. Wasnt sure on the colour and was ideally after a black one, but it really grows on you so finally took the plung.

I test drove it a couple of times before purchase and the car sold itself to me. The sound of the V10 is great, and the cabin is a very pleasent place to be. But now having had it for a few days Im thinking about fitting the Milltech to it.

Has anyone fitted one and can they notice the difference (performance not just noise!)

Has anyone unlocked the 'S8' missing bhp?

Be good to hear form other. Cheers

Air filters make a lot of difference, they open up the top end.
Milltek is great for the noise and slight enhancement to performance too.
And then a remap to give it a bit more.

Theyre great understated cars :)

Golfather

Thanks for responding.

I am dancing around my handbag on getting a S6.

With prices now down to 20K the V10 is so tempting.

i am trying to find out if anyone does 2 exhaust out pipes instead of 4 , hope that makes sense. Similar to RS6 .

The V10 is a great engine, you'll love it !
These cars are exceptional VFM right now.

As far as the exhasut goes, you can go for any tailpipe option if you go to a custom exhaust fabricator.
However I prefer the Quad exit as it is exclusive to the S's and looks better in the square valence.
