Replacing Inlays
Replacing Inlays
How easy it is to replace the inlays around the centre console/gear lever, dashboard and door cards, etc?
Re: Replacing Inlays
So not easy it would seem.

its alot of fiddly work. I know someone who took the dash apart to put blue LED's in and its very time consuming as you have to be gentle etc

Thanks. Will avoid any with timber veneer then...
Re: Replacing Inlays
There's a how-to video I've found on YouTube when looking at freeing up the sticky buttons for the MMI and decided that I'd be better off with sticky buttons. However, I'm not that patient with stuff like this.
Dashboard and door cards I'm unsure but if you're looking at buying, then I would definitely discount the ones with the stuff you don't want unless you can perhaps find someone to spray/wrap them?
