Firstly, a Milltek is out of the question, so been looking at resonator deletes.
Spoke to a local specialist today, and he recommended new back boxes instead of a resonator delete, to give me that low down growl. Cost of £280.
I did ask if the resonator delete was worth doing at the same time, but he said it would be too much, over the top loud.
So, would backboxes leave me with a smile on my face, or a hole in my wallet and wanting more?

Re: S6 Exhaust - advice
If all you are looking for is a more aggressive, louder sound, then just delete the resonators. Even if you find it a bit loud at first, youll get used to it pretty quick.
Hold on to the old ones just in case you want them back in.
Once you start swapping in new mufflers, then I would just do the entire catback with a custom setup and x-pipe. Or wait for used Milltek to pop up.
BTW, we are working on a new catback for my v10 S6 project. It will be unlike any other one on the market today. Should be more info in my build thread in a couple of months.
