Remap?

Is there a remap available for these cars?

I know the engine has been detuned down to around 430 horse but wondering if it can be tuned back up again with a simple software upgrade?

They can be done but there aren't huge gains available unfortunately... maybe 20 BHP max and even that I doubt in fact... but we've done a few and the customers have always been happy and noticed better throttle response and engine revving faster

Has anyone compared the S6 with the S8 motor on a rolling road to see if the former is indeed 20PS down? Audi do have a record (S3/TT) of claiming different power outputs for similar engines in different cars when they are indeed the same.

Does anyone know what the differences are between the Audi units and the Lambo units?
How has it been "detuned"?

Difference between Lambo and Audi V10 = they are different engines.
Only parts they share are distribution head. Everything else is different.

I´ve been searching what are the differences between S8 and S6 V10´s
So far it seems that induction, pistons, cam- and cranckshafts are all identical.
It leaves nothing but software to be different.

Tell me if you know better, i´d be interested to get that extra 15hp

Lambo and Audi V10s are totally different, and the ECUs are too. S8 and S6s are the same, however, even on the old V8 models everything apart from the exhaust system was the same. As we've never dynoed one of these, I can't tell if they are really 20HP down on the other...

I have looked at your site, as there is no category for S6, does that mean they are not worth tuning ?
