Changes to S3 since introduction?

I am considering buying an S3, probably an '08 car to get some of the initial depreciation out of the way.

I thought I read somewhere there had been an upgrade to the haldex system at some point?

Does anyone know what month/year this came in and any other upgrades since introduction.....or is it really irrelevant?
