S3 in the snow?

How well do S3's cope with the snow we've had this week?
So far, my New S3 seems/seemed more competent in the snow than my B5 S4.
Probably because it has less weight, but it almost made me think it wernt slippery out, that could be a good or bad thing.
Also felt the ABS was less willing to step in.
I must admit, things have not been quite as bad where I like as some of the country, but I really didnt think Haldex could match permanant 4 wheel drive, and so far I have been suprised.
