I have just took delivery of an A3 2.0 FSI Quattro S Line for the wife.

Great car just needs a remap. I have looked on the net and found that for £500 + i can get 260 bhp 320 Torque.

I was just interested what the difference was as i paid not alot less for this as a standard S3.

Or can anyone recommend an upgrade for me please.

Talk is that the tuners are saying a chipped S3 will produce around 300 bhp - so with both cars chipped theres still a fair difference

Big differences, different internals, lower CR, larger turbo... loads of difference. Similar to 1.8T vs S3 differences.

I think MRC, AMD, Awesome GTi are the usual, plus REVO dealers.

MRC and AMD are there own maps, were as Awesome GTi use APR software (I have this). Not sure who does REVO in your area (please complete your profile ).

I would like to know who is the prefered tuner for the 2.0T, My thoughts are...

MRC - 2.7T gods, not sure about thier 2.0T knowledge
AMD - used to be good, i'd avoid these days
APR software - US based so not sure if they get the most out of a UK car?
Revo - Seen good figures for the 2.0 but I see them as a sort of 'jack of all trades' type of outfit

Any others? I know Jabba Sport are 1.8T gods but do they do anything much with the 2.0?
