mid Jan i think now is the av date for the new S3. it would appear Audi hasnt put much effort into the new version or as mentioned already they're holding back for the RS3 but why hold back with the S3? why give a new model only a few bhp more than the previous model with all the extra weight that invariably comes with new cars? these cars should drive like a go kart and not a horse and kart. The S3 we had was a FANTASTIC car...
mores the pity the suspension was crucified by British ideas of what a falt surface looks like or we would most likely still have it. Its a pity I could afford to buy it instead of trading it in. At least I have my trusty WR quattro to play with.

Having driven it, it feels alot quicker than my old 225bhp S3 and really well put together. The only downsides appear to be no decent alloys and the styling is a little bland on the rear and flanks (arches are same as S-Line and rear lights would have been better if like the 5 door sportback).
I'd have one but have been told by a friend who's brother works for Audi that the RS3 will be unvailed next year.
