A3 rear springs.

Hi - I'm a member from a different forum section, but have an A3 query (not an S3). We've had several rear spring failures over the years - I don't know whether the A3 & S3 rear springs are the same, but is this a known fault - and if so is there a better alternative?

Any help greatly appreciated.
