revo map done today!

Post by s3shane » Sat Oct 20, 2007 6:03 pm

hi there, just got back from having my car revo mapped at VAG-tech and i'm happy with the results. the boost peaks at a lovely 1.7 bar and holds at 1.5 bar. the power delivery is alot more aggressive when pulling away and pulls strong right the way through to the red line. it wasn't done on a rolling road though as i thought it would be by the looks of their web site, but i was taken on a road test to get the car how i wanted it and make sure the power delivery suited my needs, and ofcourse, make sure everything was safe and sensible. VAG-tech were very friendly and their service was very good and i would recommend to others. overall a good day, i was told to expect around the 310/310 mark when on the rollers, and after owning an evo, i think its about that power to be honest. so i'm happy even though i'm £586 poorer! but i did get a free t-shirt and stickers
