Would be nice if they were to advertise... Group Buys are great but doesn't put any money in the site's pocket, when people don't have a Site Sponsorship Package (I suppose we will need to change the GB rules).

Also, details on what you get for £250 would be nice, along with what the normal price would be.

Phil,

Per the group buy rules, I have emailed the supplier advising they might like to advertise here. I have also requested they provide more detail on the package in their words so I dont become a middle man in any dispute over the final product.

As for the pricing - standard price to attend on your own as joe public is £225-250. They are offering 15% discount for 3 cars, and a greater discount for more than 3 (to be agree when final numbers are agreed).

Hope this clarifies.

All,

Attached email from Rob re the services available.

Hi Mark,

Sorry - been having a mad busy time - just did a demo of pSystem to the
Aston factory yesterday. They were extremely impressed and we are on course
to be supplying it for all their refinishing process.

I attach a pdf of our price list.

A note on the packages.

I think I went over this on the phone but just to be clear. Coating only is
only applicable for paintwork that is either brand new or properly
corrected. In fact some new cars we have to spend quite a time correcting!
Although Audis seem ok from new.

Swirl killer is only really applicable to cars with very light swirling ie
less than about 18 months or in excellent condition. A lot of owners who
assume their paint is ok are taken aback once we put their car under the
light rig!

Paint perfection for everything else. We can also do a mix and match - of
both packages. So for eg you have overall a swirl killer package but have a
scratched up bonnet or wing we can do the swirl killer and PP for those
panels. Large panels £50, small £30.

We offer a number of other services either conducted by us or by excellent
third parties (no franchise chipsaway dentmasters etc) - all outlined on the
brochure.

Car's paintwork coated with C1 nano active - screens coated with long
lasting (up to 2 yrs) nano water repellent coating. Proper detailing eg
exterior trim touch up, rubber feeding etc.

Any questions - let me know.

Rob

Attached reply from Rob. Please reply, confirming your interest with the given information from Rob.

If all of the cars are relatively new and only need the swirl killer pack then we actually could do them all this week.

For the pricing. As mentioned 3 would be 15% so for 4 how does 20% sound? This makes the numbers a nice round £200. For this you get:
· Wheels deep cleaned with non-acidic cleaner and wheel arches degreased and jet washed
· Road grime sprayed with citrus traffic fi lm remover
· Washing using detailers shampoo and rinsed using filtered and softened water and dried with micro bres
· Interior vacuum
· Dust and clean interior surfaces
· Clean all windows
· Clean all door and boot shuts
· Removal of surface contaminants by clay bar
· Dress all exterior plastics eg bumpers, grills
· Polish all exterior chrome eg exhaust tips
· Machine polish using G|techniq’s patented nano polish to remove swirl marks (nb this only removes swirl marks)
· Body coated with G|techniq’s patented nano ultra long life super-hydrophobic coating o‑ering unmatched gloss retention, water beading, swirl resistance and easy clean functionality
· Windscreen coated with ultra long life super-hydrophobic rain clearing coating

As mentioned we can do a mix and match of packages if, for example, you have a badly scratched bootlid but the rest of the car is ok we can do paint perfection on that and swirl killer on the rest of the car. This works out as £30 for a small panel and £50 for a large one.

Thanks,
Mark.

Ok, had mine done today. Have to say the guys are fab!!!! Attention to detail is superb.

They got some bird dropping stains out of the car, and some scratches down the nearside from a narrow lane taken at speed.

I got there at 0900, and left there at 1800 - drove home round the M25 in the pouring rain with the wipers on intermittent because the repellent is so good.
Pictures here: http://www.gtechniq.com/eurofolio - then choose Marks RS4.

Feel free to contact Rob or Janis direct to get yours clean and shiny!!

Would agree with philip , how much work would a 0-2 year old car need ??Why don't you do the same as us poor mortals , go and buy some stuff from halfords and do it your self . :?

Guys,

Any application of the "standard" products will set you back this sort of money. They dont last as long, and the application doesnt take out the swirls and minor paint blemishes a car suffers.

Im probably going to have my RS4 for a few years yet, and am keen to keep it in good condition. I also like the idea that I can rinse it off every few days and get the showroom condition back. The product doesnt contain wax, so doesnt deteriorate in hot weather.

You dont have to have this application, or any other - thats a matter of personal choice. I know though, that i prefer to have these guys work on the blemishes on my car, leave it highly polished and protected for the same money as a mobile valet guy who will be on your drive a couple of hours.

Ive met them, had the treatment and seen the finished article in the flesh - and Im more than happy. Is that not what matters?

I think we need to look at the difference between valet and detailing. A valeter will do a good job in the least possible time. Im not saying they are not very good at what they do because they are, but detailing is about getting the best possible finish no matter how long it takes. Also i would like to add £200 for a full detail with swirl removal is very very good. Pics look great!
