Mine's arrived, too. Annoyingly when I took the M3 out for a drive yesterday I noticed the mirror in that is borked.

You do them for E46 M3s, Mirrorjohn?
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

Thanks for getting this sorted out Chris and thanks for the quick turnaround John, great service.

Just switched mine over (sorry, no pictures but I used the previous ones Chris posted for an idea of how it was out together). I used a plastic pick and a card (random loyalty card) to pry the housing open. Started at the top as it was the longest side and worked carefully around the corners to the bottom undoing the clips holding it together.

I'd had to be careful of the sensor at the bottom frontside, there's a small catch on the inside to pull outwards first to let the sensor slide out freely with the circuit/ mirror (I actually popped mine out with force which I wouldn't advise).

The mirror's attached by an adhesive foam pad, so you will need to pull that off with a bit of force but keep in mind that there's a wire connected to the back, so just work it slowly until you get access to remove the connector, remove it, then take the rest off.

You'll need some adhesive to attach the new mirror to the old circuit (and housing). The original is foam pad is about 2-3mm thick. I had some old unused pads which were for the licence plate, so just used that along side the old foam.

You'll also need to solder the circuit to mirror.

Clip sensor back in, put mirror into housing, firmly clamp housing together (caution to the soldered connections) and Roberts your father's brother.

Just had 2 r v mirrors upgraded by MirrorJohn.
He also fitted the new glass to the casings for me.
Superb job done and a really quick service.
Nice to know that I won’t have any corrosive liquid potentially damaging the interior because of failure.
Thank you John
